Do you only photograph couples over 40?
While I specialize in photographing couples of a certain age, I welcome anyone who connects with my images, my message of body neutrality and age positivity, and my overall energy!
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been photographing with purpose since 2011. I took a hiatus from
the wedding industry around 2022 during which time I focused mainly on
Empowerment Portrait Photography and opening my studio in
Stonewall, MB. Now I’m excited to bring my expertise on body
neutrality and age positivity into my wedding portraits.
How would you describe your style?
I describe my style as a blend of romantic playfulness and candid storytelling. I love gently posing couples to create perfect editorial-style images, while also capturing all your candid moments as a paparazzi fly on the wall.
How many photos are included in your coverage?
On average you can expect approximately 100 images per hour of event coverage. That being said every event is different so the exact amount will vary. Rest assured your gallery will be filled with all of the best memories from your celebration perfectly edited and ready to print.
How long will it take us to get our images?
You will receive some sneak peeks of your wedding day within 24 hours of your event. Your fully gallery can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 8 weeks depending on the time of year.
Do I need a pre-wedding (engagement) session?
This is definitely a personal decision which is why I have not included these sessions in my packages. Pre-wedding/Engagement sessions are a fantastic way to celebrate your relationship and get a feel for being photographed. The photos can also be used for save the dates, invitations, wedding websites, or wedding decor. That being said if it's something you don't feel called to do, don't do it!
When should we book our pre-wedding/engagement session?
Absolutely whenever you like! If you are using your images for save the dates of invitations I recommend the sooner the better.
Can you help us with finding the perfect photo locations?
This is actually one of my most favorite things to do! With having over a decade of experience photographing in various places around Winnipeg and surrounding areas, I am confident in my ability to find the best locations to suit not only your wedding but your personal style as well.
Can I print my own images?
Absolutely! All of your images are ready to print out of your gallery up to 11x14. However I am not able to guarantee the work of a third party printing company
Do you offer printing services?
I do! I work with the top industry print creators on heirloom prints and albums that have lifetime guarantees as well as display guarantees for up to 100 years. Ask me about all of the ways we can display your memories!
Do you provide the RAW/negative image files?
Short answer: No, I don't.
Long answer: Since I photograph primarily with digital cameras, the files that they produce are unprocessed. Much like a roll of film after you use it up. And much like a film technician, I have to process those files in order to create the gorgeous images like you see on this website. Every file you receive will be expertly edited to my signature style and ready to print.
